Since Columbines 1999 shooting we've seen an increase in school shootings and bullying. We've seen an increase in suicides and murders against our young people. We've also seen young people make decisions that are affecting their destiny and others as well. We've seen the media shape and form their thinking and decision making. All of this is changing many destinies and so now is the time to take the necessary measures to help save a life, their life.
God has a purpose for their life and a better future for them as well. Jeremiah 29:11 says, For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. We need to let the youth know that no matter what it looks like now they have a future. We need to tell them to make the right decisions so that they can prosper and prevail. We need to let them know that they are important, that situations will get better, that they have a purpose.
We also need to help those that are being bullied. Bullying is not fun, it's not cool. Bullying as we've seen can lead to massive deaths which in turn alters everyone's future. We need to teach our kids that it's not okay to make fun of people. We need to teach them that God loves each and everyone regardless of their race, clothes, hair style, etc.
So let's make a difference together in the lives of our young people. Because God wants to use them mightily. God has a plan and a purpose for them. So now is the time to build up strong children, teens, and young adults so that they can prevail. What do you plan to do to save a life?
