Breaking Free Of Homosexuality

There's many people in the "progressive" world that want to break free of Secret Sexual Sins. One of the most difficult sexual sins to break free from is homosexuality. In this community of homosexuals, most of them want to be left alone. There are those that are more outspoken opponents of the Bible. They attack anyone that shares the truth of the gospel of Jesus Christ.

At Prevailing Word, we understand that the Lord is clear about homosexuality. We also understand that those that practice the sin of homosexuality will fight to keep their sexual preference. Therefore, it is your choice to stay in the dark places of homosexuality, or you can break free and come out into the light of God's true love and everlasting forgiveness.

We can argue all day about the Scriptures. What it all comes down to is whether you want to stay bound as a prisoner to sexual sins or break free.

It comes down to what you want to do.

Believers in the Lord Jesus Christ is powerless to make a person change their ways. Just like proponents of homosexuality are powerless to stop believers of the Lord Jesus Christ to make an unapologetic stand to help people be free.

John 8:32 says, "And you shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free."

TRUTH: Every 39 minutes, a person is diagnosed with HIV/AIDS.

TRUTH: Jesus was beaten with 39 stripes.

Isaiah 53:5 "But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, and by His stripes we are healed."

1 Peter 2:24 says "who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness — by whose stripes you were healed."

In all of us is sin. Romans 3:23 says, "For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God."

The root of ALL preferential sin is the nature of darkness.

Just like a person with a disease need healing, the only remedy for sin is the cross of Jesus. Jesus paid for sin by His death, burial, and resurrection. It is no coincidence that the stripes the Lord endured before He was crucified coincides with how many people are diagnosed with HIV/AIDS.

Jesus endured this FOR YOU because He loved YOU!

God demonstrated His love by sending His Son to die for sin so that we could be free.

John 8:36 says, "Therefore if the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed."

It all comes down to whether you want to be free or stay in the condition that you are in.

Many of you have been diagnosed with HIV/AIDS. Many of you may have cancer which is a clear indication that you now have full blown AIDS. Just because you have AIDS, it doesn't mean that you are condemned to hell. While AIDS has been considered a death sentence in the natural, the Lord Jesus can still free you from sin.

1 Peter 3:9 says "The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance."

The Lord's compassion and commandment to repent is towards all who are willing to allow Jesus to break the chains of sexual slavery and begin a new life in Christ, in true freedom from the bondages of homosexuality.

There is a "sell by date" on this offer of freedom.

Your death or the coming of the Lord. Whichever comes first.

2 Corinthians 6:2 says, "Behold! Now is the acceptable time. Behold! Now is the day of salvation."

Hebrews 2:3 says "...how shall we escape if we neglect so great a salvation, which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed to us by those who heard Him."

Do not be in despair or have a complete absence of hope about your involvement in the sin of homosexuality.

It's not over yet, and you are not yet hopeless.

It's important to tell you that once you do pass away, If you are not in Christ at the moment of death, you must abandon all hope.

Now the choice is up to you.
